On Tuesday, September 20th, members of the Winterset FFA competed in the South Central District Career Development Event.  JoAnn Nielsen placed 1st in the overall Advanced Horse Judging competition with Sage Hildebrand taking 3rd place.
The team of Sydney and Sage Hildebrand, JoAnn Nielson, and Caitlin Fairchild brought home 1st place as a team in the Advanced Horse Judging competition.  
The freshman livestock judging team placed 28th and the upperclassman team placed 7th out of 77 teams.
