The Husky Wrestling Team opened their season at Truro on Tuesday.  They opened the night by dropping a 42-33 decision to Interstate 35.  Wins for the Huskies came from Dakota Jenkins by forfeit, Kruise Kiburz by decision, Blake Ryerson by forfeit, Justin Smith by fall, Parker Maynes by fall, and Tanner Marquardt by forfeit.
The Huskies defeated Nodaway Valley in the second dual of the night 43-18.  Picking up wins for the Huskies were Dakota Jenkins by forfeit, Dylan Wagner by forfeit, Trenton Cook by fall, Justin Smith by fall, Connor Van Pelt by decision, Parker Maynes by decision, and Tanner Marquardt and Brad Tolley by forfeit.
The Huskies are back in action on Thursday, December 1, at Carroll v. Carroll and Greene County.
