On Saturday, January 7th, Winterset sent 2 teams to the State Debate Tournament.  The team of Devyn Leeson and Chase VanWerden were crowned State Champions in Public Forum in the Galligan Division!  Devyn Leeson was also awarded the best speaker in this division.  The team of Michael Garcia and Sawyer Phillips advanced to the quarterfinal round of state competition.  Congrats to Coach Rebecca Stoeker, Devyn, Chase, Michael, and Sawyer!
