On Saturday, January 28th, the Husky Wrestlers competed in the Raccoon River Conference wrestling tournament hosted by ADM.  The team finished 3rd, placing 10 of their wrestlers in the top 5.  Jack West brought home the title at 126 pounds by defeating Neal Larsen from Bondurant-Farrar 7-4.  Other finalists for the Huskies were Bryce Hatten at 106, Trey Allen at 113, and Justin Smith at 145.  Jalen Kleemeier  at 182 and Bradley Tolley at 285 finished 3rd, both winning their match by fall.  4th place finishes came from Blake Ryerson at 138, Connor Van Pelt at 160, Cory Lauer at 220, and Parker Maynes at 195.  Other finishes for the Huskies were Kaden Rhoads, 6th at 120, Kade Forsyth, 6th at 152, and Elijah Nuzum, 6th at 170.  The Husky wrestlers are back in action this Saturday at the Sectional Tournament in Albia, 12:00 start time.
