The Indianola/Winterset boys swim team captured the North Central Swim Conference Championship this past weekend held at Newton.

Tim LaGrange: 2nd place 200 Medley Relay (Breaststroke), 3rd place 200 Individual Medley, 1st place 100 Butterfly
Alex Charron: 2nd place 200 Medley Relay (Freestyle), 3rd place 50 Freestyle, 3rd place 200 Freestyle Relay (4th), 3rd place 400 Freestyle Relay (3rd)
Brad LaGrange: 3rd place 200 Freestyle, 6th place 400 Freestyle
Oskar Reels: 6th place 200 Medley Relay (Butterfly), 4th place 100 Butterfly, 6th place 400 Freestyle Relay (2nd)
Lane Bindel: 5th place 100 Butterfly, 6th place 100 Backstroke, 6th place 400 Freestyle Relay (3rd)
This was the season finale meet for the JV swimmers and a final tuneup meet for varsity. The state qualifying district meet will be held at six sites throughout Iowa this upcoming Saturday. Indianola is one of the host sites. The meet will start at the Indianola YMCA at noon this Saturday. We'd love to have as much Winterset support as we can for this meet as the swimmers shoot for a top 24 state qualifying time!
